Sewing Machine Motor

An old hand or foot manually operated sewing machine can be easily motorized making it faster and easier to use. Attaching a motor to the sewing machine is not too complicated. The motor is attached to the machine's body by simply screwing in an L-shaped metal bracket. A belt connects the motor to the hand wheel after the hand crank is removed (in case it is a hand-operated machine). In a few steps, the machine is an electric machine which has a foot pedal to control the speed and movement of the machine. A foot pedal is much more convenient than a hand crank plus, the motor makes stitching much faster!
