Orange coloured, spiral and crisp Jalebis is a favourite sweet dish in most weddings, Festivals and celebrations, not only in India but in many parts of South and West Asia. Flour is made into a batter which is fermented and then dropped into hot oil in thin concentric circles. Once they are nicely fried, they are dipped in sugar syrup. The crispy, sweet Jalebis are mouthwatering. They are normally served hot with cold Rabri to go with.
