Tandoori Chicken, Tikka

Tandoori Chicken, Tikka is globally, one of the most popular Indian dishes. Chicken pieces are soaked in a marinade of ginger, garlic, curd , spices like garam masala and red chilly powder. The pieces are then cooked in a tandoor/cooked in an oven or grill, while generously applying butter so that we get tasty tandoori chicken which is crisp from the outside but well-cooked yet succulent from the inside. Chicken tikka is very much like tandoori chicken except that it has boneless pieces of chicken. They are served hot with raw onions, slices of lemon and tandoori roti or naan.
